I’m in Argentina, now what?
Futbol (soccer) – Together with Brazil, Argentina is one of the countries in south america, in which futbol is not only a sport. it is a way of life. I was amazed by the amount of team supporting tattoos I saw when I came for the first time. When you meet people, they’ll ask your name, where do you come from and which team do you support. I know several people that claim to be having a bad day or week because their team lost an important match.
So if you’re planning on living this passion from a great seat, think about which stadium do you want to visit. Depending on the team, the experience will be completely different. I’ll give you three options.
Let’s start with the most known team:
1. Boca. Without a doubt, the hardest one to get tickets for. The team has more official associates (fans with the right to a seat) that the stadium can fit. This means, you will probably have to buy a ticket from an unofficial source. Try Mercadolibre.com
2. Racing: One of my favorites. Easy to get a ticket by just going to the stadium and buying it, great atmosphere, amazing stadium that lets you enjoy the game, no matter where you’re seated and easy to get there. Just get an uber or cabify and head over there.
3. Huracán: Family atmosphere, easy access, easy access to tickets.
